I'll tell you a short story of how I discover Emerald. I was in high school when I discovered the beauty of Emerald. At first not the gem itself, but a character of my favorite pocket book entitled "Beso del Diablo" by Martha Cecilia. After that I started to dream to be Emerald someday. I know  she's not real, she's really beautiful according to the author. Then one day, I happened to read a book.There I found Emerald, not the character but a gemstone. It's beautiful, I like its earthly color. Then I found out that Emerald is the birthstone for May. That thought makes me smile because I was born on May. I am now letting go of the character of Emerald because I know she's not real. What is real is my Emerald birthstone and that is enough.
